Bonita Bay Information

There is no other community in South Florida that can hold a candle to Bonita Bay. We are located only a short drive to the Gulf of Mexico where we have our own private beach on one of the most beautiful sandy stretches anywhere in South Florida. Our beach is gated and is guarded with friendly staff to assist in parking and the comings and goings of our many beach shuttles, we have large covered pole buildings to keep you out of the sun and weather if you wish, we have the convenience of vending machines, showers and even provided lounges and umbrellas. You may drive your car to the beach or take one of the many community shuttles. Great if the family is in town, why tie up a car?

Bonita Bay is 1800 acres, it’s huge and was designed in concert with the Audubon Society. There are hundreds of acres of wild life habitat. We have dozens of beautiful fishing lakes with real live fish in them!

Bonita Bay has 5 championship Golf Courses. They are meticulously maintained and challenging yet fair to play.

Bonita Bay also boasts several great family parks within the community. There is The Spring Creek Park where you can launch your own canoe or kayak or use one of the communities boats for free. There is also a playground and BBQ grills in this location. This is a great gathering place for dog lovers and their friends and doggie gathering occur most every day around 5 PM.

Riverwalk Park is another pet friendly location with a boardwalk to the River where dogs and kids can run and play. Riverwalk Park also boasts our own boat ramp. Launch your boat or canoe and park your car and trailer all day at no charge. There are also many docks where you may leave your boat in the water FREE for up to 30 days!! Riverwalk Park also has free tennis, free bacci ball courts and basketball.

Bonita Bay also has a membership Marina you can join, keep your boat on a boat lift or in a dry storage building. Backwater Jacks Restaurant is also at this 2nd Marina. Backwaters is FREE, no membership required. Get a great steak or a fine piece of fish. It’s a fun casual restaurant right on the Marina, great views, cold beer and great food.

If you like to jog or bike ride there is no place like Bonita Bay with over 13 miles of trails separate from the golf carts paths. How many places have such protected trails for the family to enjoy the magnificent natural landscaping and wildlife. There really is too much to say about Bonita Bay in a brief description. The people that don’t buy in Bonita Bay didn’t look for a home in Bonita Bay. I often hear, “we would have loved to be in Bonita Bay but couldn’t afford it!” Most likely they never looked in Bonita Bay. They didn’t know that residences here begin around $200,000. so there is something for nearly any pocket book.
